When Microsoft adds "Games with Gold" they pay the developers to put their games up there for free, so definitly.

And when they add games to "Deals with Gold" (what I was referring to) they again pay developers to be able to give their costumers a discount, on top of the bit smaller profit they'll get from each sale.

The main point is I'm not going to stores, buying then selling discs, putting them back into circulation where they can be bought by another 1000 people without the developers seeing a single penny.
