Microsoft and Insomniac Games have announced the first story-expansion for Sunset Overdrive. The new add-on is called "The Mystery of Mooil Rig," and it adds a range of new content to the open-world game.
Due out December 23, the DLC is set on an oil rig off the shores of Sunset Overdrive's main world, Sunset City. Since it's entirely surrounded by water, there are new moves to use, including Water Dive and Water Slambounce. These new abilities also transfer to the main game.
The Mystery of Mooil Rig also includes new, acquatic-themed enemies, and more missions, quests, and challenges. It also offers up new weapons, traps, amps, and Chaos Squad content. More details about this new content specifically will be announced later on.
The Sunset Overdrive DLC is included with the $20 DLC pass, or can be purchased separately for $10. Check out the video above to see The Mystery of Mooil Rig in action.
