Ubisoft's record-breaking and critically acclaimed open-world game Watch Dogs could be trekking to New Jersey for a future expansion, according to new details posted to the game's official Twitter account.

Ubisoft tweeted, "Our data indicates surveillance has become more prominent in high-crime areas." Included with this tweet was an image that reads, "The city of Camden, New Jersey had the highest crime rate in the US in 2012. A 24/7 surveillance program is now in effect."

A Watch Dogs fan responded to this tweet by asking if it was in reference to a downloadable expansion for the game. The Watch Dogs account replied by saying, "coming this fall!"

A 2012 study that used crime data from the FBI named Camden the most violent city in the United States with a population of more than 75,000.

The $20 Watch Dogs DLC pass includes new single-player content that has you playing as a character named T-Bone, a man described as a "brilliant but eccentric hacker who lives by his own rules."

Watch Dogs launched in May for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. A Wii U version is currently in development and is scheduled to launch sometime this fall.
