Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls 2.0.4 patch released, makes major changes to most classes

Blizzard has rolled out the major 2.0.4 patch for Diablo III and its recent expansion Reaper of Souls, and it's a major update for the recently released RPG.

All classes, with the exception of the Monk, have received tweaks to their skills and abilities, with the new Crusader class the most affected--plenty of their skills have been modified. The Wizard's frozen orb has also seen a slight nerf, which will probably frustrate the 99 percent of Wizards who all seemed to rely on that skill almost exclusively.

Another major change is that legendary crafting materials will now drop far more frequently. Also, level 60-70 rares won't need death's breath to craft, and level 70 craftable items won't require flawless royal gems.

Blizzard also adds that resplendent chests will now be a little more resplendent in what loot they dish out.

The 2.0.4 patch also stops boss monster Manglemaw from dishing out swathes of XP after farming the creature over and over and over and over again became a popular strategy.

Blizzard recently revealed that Reaper of Souls sold 2.7m copies in its first week.

Full 2.0.4 patch notes can be read on Blizzard's site, or from the Battle.net application while the patch is being downloaded. Time to log on and see if your favourite build still holds up.
