Best Buy has announced a new promotion (via Polygon) where the retailer will pay shoppers a minimum of $100 of in-store credit--via Best Buy gift card--for their working Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 systems.
The deal--which naturally features a list of restrictions--is valid through November 23, the day after the Xbox One hits store shelves later this week.
Xbox 360 and PS3 units must power on to be considered working. Systems that are cracked, have a broken factory seal, or have water damage will not be accepted. Shoppers are responsible for removing all personal data from their consoles before trading them in.
Looking ahead to next week, Best Buy's Black Friday deals include a 250GB PS3 system with copies of The Last of Us and Batman: Arkham Origins for $199, as well as a 250GB Xbox 360 bundle with copies of Tomb Raider, Halo 4, Darksiders II, and Batman: Arkham City for $190.
